Another first for A Way With Words Foundation: theFIRST ANNUAL PINK TIE FORMAL DINNER DANCE and AUCTION fundraiser called the First Annual AWWWmazING AFFAIR TO REMEMBER on October 4, 2009. The affair was sponsored by Pipino Insurance Company, The Fitnesst, Denise DeBartolo York, Tiffany Breast Care Center, Fok & Associates, Valley Awning & Tent, and other regional businesses.

Set within the west concourse of the Southern Park Mall in Boardman, Ohio, dinner was catered by the Georgetown. In addition to the gourmet dinner, the event featured music by the "Top Notes" 19-piece professional Big Band; ballroom dancing performances by professional dancers; silent, Chinese, and regular auctions; and auction of the ART-BRA-PROJECT entries.

In the spirit of building breast cancer awareness, the AWWWmazing Place! Boutique was open throughout the evening to allow guests an opportunity to view world-class rock concert photography by Janet Macoska and paintings by automotive illustrator Guy Shively and pop artist Chris Yambar.

  an overnight stay with the team

• "The Producers" Playbill, autographed by Nathan Lane and Matthew Broderick
• Waterford Crystal, Tiffany Lamp and more from Sacks Fifth Ave, donated by Denise Debartolo-York
• "Chef for Day" donated by the Georgetown
• Bone Density Test Donated by Hitchcock Center
• Diamond and gold necklace ($500.00 value)

Sponsored by the A Way With Words Foundation, Inc., the proceeds of the Art-Bra-Project benefited Breast Cancer Awareness and the A Way With Words Foundation, Inc. Entries were judged by a panel of recognized artists for ribbon awards. Entries that earned ribbons were put in the auction at the October 4th Pink Tie Dinner Dance and then displayed for a time at The AWWWmazing Place! Boutique in the Southern Park Mall. Some selections are still there for viewing.

Entries had be bra shape only, tacked to a padded hanger (white one) for display, and tastefully done. For Fabric Bras: They had to be a new bra – any size, and covered inside and outside (including straps). For other Material Bras: These had to be able to stand alone. Examples: Mosaic, Ceramics, Metal, Etc.
